Colette Sterling is the passionate artist and owner of Three Cracked Cups - Ceramic and Kintsugi Repair.

With over six years of practice, education, and engagement with the art of kintsugi, she fuses her respect of the history and traditional practices behind this incredible art form to help others renew what is precious - a special cup, a bowl from a loved on, or an antique given with care.

Colette has previously published research on kintsugi’s influences on social justice, self-development, and trauma-informed practices. She brings these lenses, her passion for education and learning, and her love of art and human connection all together to bring Three Cracked Cups to life!

A repaired antique sugar spoon for @alphyl0ve :). Repaired in the traditional style with bengara urushi and finished with blue oxidized silver powder, a specialty from @shizendo1711 who makes the BEST supplies.

Friend in the desert - a wolf or coyote alibrije that had its ear crack off. Fixed with brass. May this little friend protect and guide forever more.
